The hotel is a no nonsense business hotel with a lot of nice extras. They serve you coffee in the lobby. They provide a hearty and tasty breakfast. Your stay even includes a reconstituted hot spring bath. There is a sofa in your room even if it's not the biggest room. It's comfortable, clean and full of little nice surprises including the remote control for the lighting of your room. You can lie in bed and turn everything off without getting out of bed.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Route Inn. The hotel was quiet with helpful and attentive staff. It was very convenient for our travel arrangements. Breakfast was comprehensive and generous with a nice breakfast room. We availed of the in-house onsen and laundry facilities - both were excellent. We found nice restaurants locally. Would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, close to the station and tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The bedding was clean and just like the pictures on the website.

loved the public bath (onsen) and just next to the train station, free umbrella to use and return, nice staff, good price value overall.

Walking distance from Takaoka station. Do not get confuse with the Shin Takaoka station. Comfortable room, welcoming staffs, good value for money
